Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of costavida.site, operated by Costa Vida Mexican Street Food & Gourmet Catering, 4821 Sunset Boulevard, Los Angeles, CA 90027. By using the site you agree to these terms.
How to read these terms
Everything below is written so you can find the answer to one question at a time. If you only need the rules that apply to placing a catering inquiry, the catering section is the one that matters. If you want to know how we handle the information you send, the privacy policy covers that side.
Who operates the site
Costa Vida Mexican Street Food & Gourmet Catering runs costavida.site from 4821 Sunset Boulevard, Los Angeles, CA 90027. The site is a catalogue and an inquiry desk for our taco bars, burrito stations and full-service event catering in Los Angeles. Nothing on it is a shop with a checkout.
What these terms cover
They cover browsing the site, reading menus and packages, sending us event details through a form, and calling or emailing us about a date. Separate written agreements and event confirmations sit on top of them once a booking is arranged.
Use of the site
You may use this site to learn about our catering services, review menus, and submit inquiries.
You agree not to misuse the site, attempt to disrupt it, or submit false information through its forms. That includes sending automated traffic, probing for weaknesses, scraping the menu copy for another business, or filling in an inquiry with details you know are not yours. We may update or remove content at any time, and we may correct a menu listing, a package description or a service note without notice.
If you send an inquiry on behalf of a company, a venue or another person, you are confirming that you are allowed to share those event details with us and to receive our reply. Contact information collected through the site is handled as described in our privacy policy.
Catering inquiries and quotes
Information on this site, including menu descriptions, is provided for general reference and does not constitute a binding offer. Quotes are prepared individually based on your event details and are confirmed separately. A booking is confirmed only when we confirm it in writing.
A quote is built around your date, guest count, venue and service format — not copied from a price list.
What moves a quote
Send the four items above with your inquiry and the first reply we write back is already specific. Without them we can only give you a rough starting point and will ask for the rest before quoting.
Menus and availability
Menu items, formats, and service details may change based on season, ingredient availability, and event requirements. We will confirm the final menu and service details with you before your event date. Descriptions on this site are not a commitment to a specific item at a specific time.
A cut of beef can shift in price through the year. Produce in Los Angeles changes with the season. If a dish you saw on this site cannot be made for your date, we will tell you before the confirmation, not after, and we will propose a substitute from the same part of the menu.
Once the final menu is agreed in writing, that version is the one we cook from. Anything you want added after that point is a new request and depends on what the kitchen can source for your date.
What the kitchen can cook on your date is decided by the ingredients it can source that week — we confirm the final menu in writing before service.
Intellectual property
The content on this site, including text and images, belongs to Costa Vida or is used with permission.
You may not copy or republish it for commercial purposes without our written consent. Sharing a link to a menu or an event page is fine and welcome. Quoting a short line of our copy in a review or an article, with a link back to the site, is also fine. Reproducing our photography, our menu wording or our package descriptions on another catering site or in paid advertising is not.
Limitation of liability
We provide this site as is. We do not guarantee that it will be free of errors or uninterrupted. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for losses arising from your use of the site or from reliance on its content.
This limitation applies to the website itself. It does not replace the terms of an event agreement you have signed with us, which is the document that governs the catering service on your date.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States. Any disputes relating to the site will be handled in the courts of that jurisdiction.
If a part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. We may revise these terms as the site changes; the version published here at the time of your visit is the one that applies to that visit.
Questions we get about these terms
Short answers to the questions that come up most often. If yours is not here, the contact page reaches a person who can answer it directly.
Does sending an inquiry book my date?
No. An inquiry starts a conversation. A quote is prepared for your event details, and the date is held only once we confirm the booking with you in writing. Until that confirmation exists, the date stays open for other events.
Why can a dish on the site change for my event?
Menu items depend on season, ingredient availability and what your event needs. A description here is a reference, not a promise about a specific item on a specific date. The final menu is confirmed with you in writing before service.
Can I reuse your menu text or photos on my own site?
Not without our written consent. The text and images on this site belong to Costa Vida or are used with permission, and copying them for a commercial purpose is outside the terms. Linking to a page and quoting a short line with a link back is fine.
How do I get a copy of these terms?
The page you are reading is the current version. If you need it attached to a vendor file or an event record, ask through the contact page and we will send you the text as it stands.
